This episode is a little different.I created an outline, essentially, that I used throughout the entire podcast so that I could stay on track and focused and not ramble so much. I personally feel like it went well, so if you'd give it a listen and let me know what you think I'd appreciate that!We go into my first story of the past where I spill some tea but how it didn't change the course of who I had become. I call this "tea" because, well, who really likes to talk about using weed and drinking underage? Or their flaws? I don't like it, but I feel like it's something I *need* to talk about. The sound isn't the best but I'm researching and saving up to purchase a better mic for the future. This podcast felt like a dream and it still can be scary, but I am going to do my best to continue showing up and sharing the nitty gritty because I KNOW someone needs to hear it. Thank you for being here and hanging out with me today, my friend! I can't wait to talk again soon! In today's episode I go on a tangent about Facebook marketplace. I can't help it, but it's fresh on my mind as I have never had a less-than-adventurous experience whether it be through the conversation or the actual delivery process of selling the product. Then I ease into how comparison steals our joy. I give a few examples, and I PROMISE I'm not talking about anyone in particular. But when you look at social media, do you get a tinge of jealousy? Covet what they have? We are set apart to have things for our own selves, families and children. What is set aside for us is directly for us! And the things set aside for us are really only good when used to the glory of God. Periodt.I go very rambly but I'm proud of myself for not crying today! El oh el. As always I'm SO tickled you chose to spend some time with me and I'm so thankful you're here.If you'd like to support our family in any of our online ways please check out my Campsite at campsite.bio/megancroleyclarkOr come find me on social media! I can't wait to chat again! Support the showI feel pretty ordinary, but I also know I serve an extraordinary Lord and I have some things to say! Chat with me about a visionary idea that was sparked by red lights on the interstate and how they resonate with the hurdles we have in our lives. In this episode I get a little weepy towards the end so please bare with me! As a mama, all I want to do for my family is to let them know they are loved, but sometimes I feel like I fall short in that category. This is something I'll be working on for infinity, but how else would I begin without creating a space of accountability? If you enjoyed todays episode, I kindly ask you to leave a review or "like" so that I can gain some traction in the podcast world!Thank you so much for hanging out with me today! Hey, I'm Megan!

And this is my family.

Podcasting has been a long-time coming dream for me. It was like blogging, but easier?! Rather than just writing, I could talk AND write. A win-win.

I spend a lot of time listening to podcasts and thought "I have a lot to say, I'm sure someone would benefit from hearing about it!" I share my testimony and life stories over at my "Life With The Clarks" podcast.

However, reading books aloud was one of my first interests. What better book to choose than the Bible?

That's where "The Psalms and the Little Books" came into play. The Bible can sometimes be an intimidating book, so I chose to start with the poems and hymns of Psalms (don't worry, I'm not singing!) and the "little books" before working our way up to larger books of the bible. Bite size pieces.

This will be a great way for me to consume the information in the bible as well as go back and listen, or tune my children into listening to their mama reading the bible out loud to them. Goodness, if possible maybe my grandchildren and great grands will get to hear me reading the Bible out loud to them one day.

I'm a mother of five children and married to my husband Albert. We currently live in a camper, so all podcasts are recorded either in the 360 sqft home we have or in the back seat of my SUV.

I'm not perfect and I will never claim to be. But Jesus said it was not the healthy who needed Him, rather that it was the sick. I'm just here as a vessel to deliver the Word.
